I specialise in summery music, so I can't really choose one track in particular.

So... pretty much anything by Ulrich Schnauss, Banco de Gaia's 'live at glastonbury' LP, Any of the Big Chill compilations, Faithless's 'Outrospective', and a lot more remind me of summer!

That Groove Armada tune sends chills down my spine when I hear it. Its class.

Don't Look Back into the Sun by the Libertines, everytime i hear it takes me back to summer 2003 and i reminisce about summertime.

I''d also go for Here Comes Your Man by the Pixies, it's got such a great Beach Boys riff

What reminds me of the summer last year, is the entire Killers album. Me and my freinds were listening to it almost constantly, it also reminds me of exams, nicht so gut.

I think "Chicago" by the Groove Armada is another great summer tune, along with "No ordinary Morning" by Chicane.

I'd highly recommend The Optimist LP by Turin Brakes as a great album for a summers eve, but in the spirit of the thread (ie, one song) I'd select Feeling Oblivion or Future boy.

My choice exactly ... my friend recently got married in her native New Zealand (outdoors, lots of palm trees) and she walked down the aisle to this song. Classy she is ...

There are many but two that spring to mind right now are Ash-Girl from Mars and Len-Steal My Sunshine

There's that one song and it's like "If you steal my sunshine" I have no idea what any of the other words are or who sings it. But it reminds me of summer because while in florida the condo we were staying in was right next to Club la Vela and they played that song all the fuc*ing time!

soz for the DP but i'm just listening to Kenobi - Slip into something more comfortable on 6MUSIC and i am reminded of warm beaches and calm seas - ahhh.

Also - Le Soleil by Brigette Bardot and any kind of Bossanova classic like The Girl From Ipanema reminds me of warmer climates ... esp this grey and damp Edinburgh afternoon.

This Love- Maroon 5, always reminds me of my last summer at uni last year. Had the best time of my life and this song was oft in the background.

Pass It On by the Coral also reminds me of summer, it's such a lovely pop song that made me love them even more than i did after hearing Dreaming Of You, another song that always seems to be so summery. Can't wait to see them at Reading

Drops of Jupiter by Train or The Sun by Maroon 5 (I know, I know, I just don't care ). The Sun because it was my walking music last summer, and Drops of Jupiter because that song (and album) was what me and my best friend used to listen to on our summer stoner picnics a few years ago... it just brings me back to chillin on the grass (lol in more ways than one) sunbathing back home. I'm at Uni now so hardly see her, and that song makes me cry!
