I noticed a few people said they have an aversion to Kennedy in the other Buffyverse Poll, just wanted to gauge your thoughts.

Me? I couldn't stand her!
Ingram
Eye candy. Maybe not even that... not a good character - pissed me off. But I found her quite attractive.
gulfcoast_highwayman
Fit but annoying.

Willow and Fred forever!

I fall on the "Bitch should die" side...
Stella MM
Bad actress, bad character, bad storyline.

Though I reserve the right to change my opinion in the future 'cause I only saw that series once and I had already decided to dislike her on the grounds that she wasn't Tara.

I just thought she was a loudmouth little brat and would have ended up being the worst thing for Willow... Willow needed Tara to be her grounding influence!
fear_of_pop
That's funny, I hated Tara cause she wasn't Oz.

Nah, Tara was okay. But I didn't like Kennedy.
I also hated Fred. Wimpy little whinging midget that she was.

I felt that way too.
Willow's relationship with Oz was doomed because she brought out the animal in him, but really... can you blame him?
fear_of_pop
Nope. If I fancied girls I would definitely start with Willow.

And then move on to Tara, Cordy, Ms. Calendar, Dawn, and pretty much EVERYONE in the Buffyverse and THEN Kennedy when there were no other options!
Raven
I'd pretty much lost interest in Buffy by the end of season six so I didn't pay a whole heap of attention to series seven.

At this distance I can't really remember Kennedy so I'll abstain from voting.

(I do remember Nathan Fillion being very good at the end of S7 though, although he was definitely better in Firefly cool.gif).

Ya right there!
I HATED Kennedy!!!!!
Not only for the fact that she was so damn aggresively pursuing Willow all the time, and yes she wasn't Tara (sob).
But she just friggin questioned EVERYTHING Buff did!
Drove me up the wall...I just wanted to punch her in the ovary everytime I saw her!!!!
Grrr Arg!

Starscream`s Ghost
If ever there was a woman I hated more than Jenny Callendar, Kennedy was it. But then people who have surnames as forenames usually annoy me.

Woah, woah woah (that's english for 'stop a horse').

Fair enough Kennedy was annoying as fuck, but Jenny Calender? Lovely woman. How dare you compare the two.
Starscream`s Ghost
You`re joking, right? The only good thing she ever did was make Angelus look cool when he killed her.
ipse dixit
I could deal with her, *just*. I dunno, I didn't like her much...or at all...but I could see the point in her and what she did for Willow. The whole turning-into-Warren-coming-to-terms-with-Tara-being-dead thing.

Oh and, upset as I was on Giles' behalf for Miss Calender getting all twisty-necked, I'm sooooo much happier they went for her than the original victim...Oz! ohmy.gif
gulfcoast_highwayman
The woman danced with Prince. She was hot. Two massive things in her in favour. Her and Giles were a nice couple.

Watch Ron Burgundy recently, or is this just one from nixygirl's top 20?

Jenny Calendar - A gypsy/techo-pagan that was sent to Sunnydale in order to keep an eye on Angel/Angelus in case the curse that gave him a soul - put on him by her gypsy people - remains in tact. She has a relationship with Rupert Giles which has many bad spells; including her possession by Iygon (a demon Giles created) and her witholding the information about Angel from Buffy. Before she is killed by Angel she was working on a way to restore the original curse that had been lifted once Buffy "gave Angel a happy".

Kennedy - A potential slayer that Buffy and the Scoobies have to protect from the 'Bringers' that are attempting to assassinate them and destroy all the Slayer lineage. Kennedy has a different part in the storyline of the season 7 Buffyverse because she becomes romantically involved with Willow. Also she is older that the other potentials and had a watcher - which makes her think that she has good qualities of leadership. All in all she 'leads' the potentials below the actual Slayers.*

* There is still much debate over how much of an annoying bitch she is.

Interesting sidenote... Robia LaMorte has now become a born-again Christian and refuses to do Buffy Cons because of her association with paganism...

My favorite was:

"It's hot today... milk was a bad choice."

I cried and nearly coughed up my internal organs with laughter over that one.
Beesboy
Kennedy was fit but very annoying. There was nothing wrong with Jenny Calendar, plus she was also fit. I'm also a fan of Ron Burgundy but don't find him attractive, alas.

"When in Rome."

I totally agree about Robia, it's a little silly refusing to do conventions because of your religion - although that is a pretty watertight excuse for not wanting to do conventions. Which most stars absolutely abhor.
