I dislike the PSP, though if you haven't bought an ipod I can understand why people would kill two birds with one stone gettin this instead.
However, I'd be wary of wellknown production quality problems. Dead pixels in the LCD screen (They can NEVER be repaired; a nice upshot of LCD technology as a whole) that can piss people off (unless little static points of light on their brand spanking new game device is aceptable...)
Other issues are the EXCESSIVLY EXPENSIVE media you need to buy for it to listen to music.
YOu must use proprietary memory sticks Of ocurse that word 'proprietary' goes hadn i nhand with "expensive". You'l pay nearly the same amount for an ipod if you wanted to get even 2Gb of storage for your music....
THe gaming end of thigns is more sure fire though. They look amazing (bearing in mind it fits in your hands, if not your pocket (resembles the Slab Boss in Mario 64) it's quite an achievment)
Also be wary of battery life.

I got my DS three months early, and I love it. Altough you can't stab Mario's face, which is possibly SM64 DS's only design flaw.

You can tear his face apart....unless you're one of those Level 6 psyhopaths to whom "mere facial tearing" means naught?

Tearing and stabbing just aren't the same

No, they defintately aren't...for one there's more films dedicated to the latter method of death
