Kelly Watch The Stars

If this doesn't make you happy then you suck.

To be honest I'm not keen on that track but I like what I've heard of their other stuff. They remind me of Panda Bear but I'm not sure if that's a subconcious thing.

MIA - Born Free Very NSFW and contains bloody violence.

Watching the trailer for True Grit reminded me of how great Johnny Cash's version of God's Gonna Cut You Down is, which then reminded me of how good the video is, which then reminded me that I'd posted it here ages ago. Turns out that the YouTube link no longer works, so I thought I'd repost it.

Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down

Also, whilst Where's Your Head At gets a lot of the attention, my favourite Basement Jaxx video remains Romeo, which also remains one of my very favourite songs.

PJ Harvey - The Words That Maketh Murder I don't know why but I was kind of blown away by this video, which on the surface looks pretty ordinary.

Probably my fave track on the album. I could easily see Nick Cave do a great cover of this.

She is quite phenomenal. Her and Morrissey are the only two British acts I can think of that are still consistently brilliant and individual.

This for me is Polly at her sexiest

(I'm not sure if anyone here has epilepsy, but if you do you'd be best off not looking at either of the two links below.)

I rather like Kanye West's video for All of the Lights, primarily because it references the opening credits to Gaspar Noe's Enter The Void, which remains the most intense minute or so of cinema I saw last year. (The tribute really kicks in at about 1:04.) Also, Rihanna's outfit in it is...nice.

I feel nauseous after watching all that now.

I absolutely love that video, and not just because of the nudity. Although it's impossible to watch it more than once a day, such is its intensity and piercing strobe action.
