First week in April if I remember rightly, although me and billypig managed to blag our way into the first press screening a month earlier. Did you know that we put up the first proper 'reviews' on the net - very positive they were too, although some people seemed to ignore that.

April 9th if memory serves (I think it was Good Friday).

Was it really a year ago that I laughed like a twat seeing only my second ever zombie film (the first being the shite Dawn of the Dead remake a few days earlier, not that I have seen the original yet to make any comparison) while looking round at the other people laughing thinking 'you are so blind, you so do not understand. you weren;t there at the beginning', before going home and sending Edgar an extremely drunk and gushy email about how fantastic it all was (can't remember exactly what I said but Edgar did Kindly reply, pointing out that it was only beaten at the Box Office by Scooby Doo on the opening night) and subsequently seeing it three more times in the next ten days?
And I will have to go through it all again next year!

And just over a year on from its theatrical release, this weekend I made my Mum watch Shaun Of The Dead on DVD. She screamed all the way through it and told me I was 'horrible' for making her watch it.
This, in turn, made me turn to her with a blank look on my face and groan like a zombie, to which she said "Stop, I don't like it". So I stopped.
Ahhhhh....

I thought the Dawn remake was bloody good actually. Was better than 28 Days Later, that's for sure. (Don't start on a me, I own both. And Shaun beats both of them.)

I think the remake was not right the ending was shite it built you up and then you got the shitty ending
