On Sunday the 19th of June, Middlesbrough will once again hold a free music thing round the town centre and if people are up and about in da area, I recommend they all turn up.

It's usually a fantastic day out and you'll probably get to see lots of bands that will be big this time next year, as well as bands that have seen better days. For example, the Proclaimers.

I know what you're thinking, why tell me the Proclaimers are on but tell me a month in advance because I've got so long to wait? Well, if not, I hope you are.

Anyway, get your groovy pants down there and shake it. Your thang that is.

I must go, now that I know when it is. I meant to golast year, but I didn't for some reason. I'm near enough to Middlesbrough to have no excuse not to go.

Cripes and crivens. I'd forgotten I'd put this thread on until last night, so I wondered if anyone had replied.

I'll be there Kirstie with my ragtag bunch of misfit chums checking out any good news bands that may be hyodge this time next year, and I'll probably be lying in the sunshine drinking cider while I do some first rate listening.

A fully recommended day out.
