Nah you'll be fine, his DVD was a cert. 15 and unless it states otherwise the show should be open to everyone or at least be discretionary.

Working in the field of front of house management I can reassure you that any age restrictions will be a recommendation rather than a limit as with a cinema. Warnings will be up for any adult content and possibly the theatre's own recommendation for a suitable age.
If you go with your parents you may find the ushers draw their attention to the signs, this is just so the theatre don't get any complaints such as "you scarred my child for life".
I wish the same system would be implemented in cinemas, it should be down to parents what age a child can see a film. They know what their own child is mature enough for. By the time I was 12 I'd seen 'The Godfather', 'The Fly', 'The Terminator' and 'Man Bites Dog' to name a few (though my Mum didn't know about the last one!)

And your a perfectly formed reasonable adult eh?

Indeed and scared of nothing. I'm the best girl to go and see anything gory, violent or spooky with!

I think as a teenager you'll be alright - I'm sure you've heard worse in the playground, so to speak.
Comedians tend not to like young children at at their gigs, as Daniel Kitson was telling me* the other day - he had a two year old in the front row at one of his shows and he asked for it to be moved to the back - when he then made some comment about not shagging young children, the audience became very tense.
*well, he was talking to the audience as a whole, but I like to think there's something special between us.

Nope, they should cut the "A" and go back to passing films with unsuitable content as 15's instead of copping out with the "let the parents decide" get-out.
Of course I'm only saying this because there's nothing more annoying than paying £6.80 to see a film and have some shit of a kid whining all the way through it (or kicking the back of your chair etc . . .).

I'm just pissed because i had to wait til I was 12 to get into these movies, but now any fucking kid can just walk in. As soon as I hit 15 they introduced it, so when I'm 18 it'll be 15A. Gits.
