Alright, well I just watched Dead Alive, which I believe is also commonly called Brain Dead. But what I wanted to know is in Shaun of the Dead the nesw broadcast at the end says soemthing like "Reports of it beginning from being bitten from a monkey has been dismissed as... (Bullshit)". Well I was wondering if in Shaun of the Dead they were making fun of 28 Days Later or Dead Alive, both of which begin with being bitten by a monkey. Also, both have somefast zombies. In 28 Days Later, they are all fast, in Dead Alive, some are fast because they get an Animal Stimulant. So if anyone knows from an interview or anything, which one was being made fun of in SotD!??? Thanks
Oh and if you haven't seen Dead Alive (Brain Dead) I recommend it.

If you listen closely, Edgar (yes, that's Edgar happy.gif ) says "rage-infected monkeys". They're definitely ref'ing 28 Days Later.
spunge_mad
yeah it says so in the comentry

Oh I thought it was caged monkeys, haha. I'm just stupid. Thanks much, I didn't catch that part in the commentary, I guess I should have looked back at it before opening my big mouth.

perhaps thats why it sucked such mammoth logs...

though the 'comfort women' idea was interested, but far too underdeveloped.

What are they then? huh.gif

I suppose the pedantic answer is that they're diseased/infected living people, as opposed to the living dead, but that is quite pedantic

Can't remember, but they did pass on their "zombieness" through biting which is quite classic.

They were 'rage-infected people' which is a trying-to-be-unique way of saying budget zombies. laugh.gif
