Has anyone else had trouble with disc one of the Collectors' Edition DVD boxset? My main dvd player (which is actually an XBox with the DVD adapter) doesn't like Disc One. It plays the VCI bit, displays the channel 4 logo and then resets! The other discs work fine, and I've never had trouble with my xbox before.
However, disc one works on my computer (which is not my player of choice). Normally my Xbox is far better at dealing with dvds than my computer, so I'm surprised that it works with one and not the other.
If it's a problem with all disc ones then there's no point in swapping it with the shop (and I can still play it - just not on my telly). However, if no one else has had trouble with disc one then I'm inclined to try sending it back.
Ideally I'd like someone else with an Xbox with DVD adapter to try it out on their machine and tell me if it works, but I don't know whether that's going to happen. Perhaps most Spaced fans are Playstation addicts out of loyalty to Tim?!
Shame my first post had to be a technical issue - I love Spaced and it would have been nice to have a slightly more positive start on these forums!
