There's 3 Wright brothers I think. Oscar - an artist, then Edgar - a directer and a younger one who's name I don't know. Maybe Osymyso is the younger brother? Even at the distance I thought he looked like Edgar. Have you compared him to Oscar's appearences in Spaced to see if it's him? He's one of the partyers (in the b&w check shirt) in 1.6 and one of Dexter's cohorts in 2.3.

Yeah at the very beginning of the night he actually looked normal and like Shaun in his work uniform. Now i'm thinking it might've been deliberate and that he was acting out the film in costume...kinda thing.

The source of all random items ... E-bay! Apparently people in shops wore them on the DVD release of SOTD for promotional purposes. Whether that's true or not I have no idea, but the images and print quality on it seem fine and not dodgey.

Hiya
Mark & I had a lovely time at the screening, but, we were fairly uncomfortable and sitting at the back. So we didn't stay for the whole event.
What an awesome thing - to watch a great British movie on a balmy summer evening with a Union Jack flying proudly way above the screen. It was a happy time for this Anglophile American immigrant.
We left around 20 min before SotD ended and had a drink on the guest veranda, overlooking the Thames and watching disco boats sail past.
To top off our lovely evening: as we walked across Waterloo Bridge, we could hear music. We discovered there was a swing band and professional dancers at the NT ... we were treated to 'Sing, Sing, Sing' and swing dancers making their movements look way too easy, as we watched from the Bridge.
Cheers dearz

I heard a guy ask Edgar about it and all he said was "it's coming along nicely" or something along those lines. Nothing specific sadly.

Well as soon as I managed to work out Simon's T-shirt (which was a testament to my eyesight considering the distance I was at. Johnny Alpha eat your heart out!) I figured Nick must have been up in Edingbrugh for the festival as Kinky Boots is getting it's first screening up there. Must be busy on the promo trail already.
If anyone wants to add their name I'm actually writing to Somerset House about the discomfort and timing of showing Land Of The Dead. I like writing complaining letters (yes, I'm a freak but I like getting my way. Hey I got a proper seat on the night didn't I?

) so if you'd like me to sign it with your name as well let me know and maybe things will be taken into consideration for next time.

No, it was the fact I had to blag that seat in the first place that says there was slack facilities. Before going in a woman was talking to me about how silly it was that there was no proper seating and that people were expected to sit on a stone floor for the best part of 6 hours of entertainment. I could see many people were quite uncomfortable all evening but maybe were prepared to put up with it or unwilling to complain.
And at £12.50 a ticket I don't think it's unreasonable for me to write to them and say what I felt was wrong.

It does seem a bit stupid to have to pay £12.50 to sit on a stone cold floor! Someone could have made a mint selling beanbags just outside the door.

Didn't the organisers make it clear when you purchased the tickets? There are never proper seats for these kinds of film screenings.
What time did they show Land of the dead then?

Well the ticket was an early birthday present from my friend Laura. I only found out about there being no seats when Feckless_Dykey_Prostitute pointed it out (which, btw, I'm very thankful for). Although I'd never been to Somerset House before I knew the courtyard was a stone floor so thought there'd be seats. If it was grass there'd be no problem but stone is a far too hard to sit on for 5 hours, as Sleeping_Pirate has testified to. They could've put some mats down or something.
Land Of The Dead was on at 11:25pm but I had to get to Fenchurch Street to catch the last train. I live on the very outer edge of London and the nightbus doesn't go where I live. Otherwise I would've stayed.

Hi guys!
Sorry for the delay in posting, but we just wanted to say thanks to everyone on here who said nice things about us on Saturday.
It really was great to be a part of it - we met so many wonderful people that evening.
We want to apologise to the guy who wore that REALLY cool red Dawn of the Dead t-shirt (with the machette zombie on it) for defacing that t-shirt with our almost illegible scrawl. Well, we DID ask him if he was sure about it beforehand!
Feckless_dykie_prostitute - did you HAVE to post that scan of our aforementioned scrawl for all the world to see! LOL!!! We just did our "zombie" look for pictures - hopefully people saw that we are happy bunnies really!
We had a funny feeling that one of two certiain people - no prizes for guessing their identities - was going to do something like sing Happy Birthday to us - having such a huge crowd singing along was certainly one of those surreal moments that are not likely to be forgotten in a hurry!
Once again, thanks to everyone who were nice enough to come up and say "hi" to us.
All the best

The green wristband you see in the picture (that's Kevin wearing it), is indeed a Summerset House thing - they were worn by the "guests" at the event.
Sleeping_Pirate - we looked miserable in most of the pics, too - but that was because people wanted us to do the "zombie" faces! That was probably one of the best evenings we have ever spent, too!

Thanks, Cornetto!
It took enough bloody takes to get right! LOL!
We looked like bikers back then - in actuality, we wouldn't go near them, as after having a motorcylcling brother of our survive a near-fatal crash a few years back, it kinda put us off them...
...however, if somebody were to offer us money to portray Harley Davidson-riding dudes, then that's another matter...
