The Shaun outtakes are priceless. They led to some of the most best/drunken conversations I had with my old housemates - yeah bitch, too fat to dance! cafe au lait, it's for you! oooh, big ol' gash*. It feels like a bunch of mates fucking about. HF feels like it's all business - I can't relate to the bigger cast, all these famous faces.

Also, I'd have to argue against this "famous people" tosh. Ewwah Woohwahh has one of the best outtakes of all!

I like the HF bloopers better than the SotD ones. That little dance they did was classic. Hahaha and "Eve Draper..." "Phoooaarrr!"

Most people here can probably relate to SoTD more than HF, and relatabilty is probably a big selling point for most people. To each their own, mirite?

I must say that I really love the SOTD outtakes; especially Nick making Simon laugh with his filthy comments & Simon freaking out when all the zombies surge towards him outside the pub.

But I've really enjoyed the Hot Fuzz outtakes, too. My faves are: Nick's "collar & cuffs" remark, Simon & Nick losing it several times in a row in the locker room (ooh! Simon's nipples! hehee ), the little Eve Draper dance, & the Nick & Simon "love" outtakes at the end. hehee!
Simon Mugs is also priceless.

I noticed that during Simon & Edgar's commentary, they mentioned maybe making a film in Australia! I hope they really do, one day, & it's not just a flippant remark. Then I could try being an extra! Woo!

omg.. The collars and cuffs comment made me laugh so much!! Although it took me a couple seconds to realise that that's what he actually said.
Hahahahaha and the locker room bit never fails to make me laugh too. It's SO ridiculous.
I also like the one where it pans across the group of police where Doris says "I dunno, I quite like a midnight gobble" and Walker saying "cock" ... then it gets to Nick and Simon and they're laughing before the camera gets to them!
I'm going all gushy now...

And that would be super cool, Gen, if they came down there. Maybe they could do a little filming here too one day. Hint hint. We have the facilitieeeeessss!

Of course the Shaun stuff was great too - but I'm totally HF biased at the moment.

But in truth, best outtake of all time for my own personal tastes would still have to be Jess's voice-crack on the word "porn" in the Spaced box set out-takes.

Actually, another SOTD one I love is when Shaun's standing in his mum's kitchen, & it goes like this....

It's just perfect timing & makes it sound like Simon's said something obscene that's been bleeped out with a cuckoo noise!

Having said R2 DVD arrive precisely the day when you're feeling miserable because you've just inflicted a big black eye upon yourself by clumsily walking into the doorframe the night before, thereby giving you a good excuse to sit down, rest yourself, and dive into the commentary tracks: Priceless.

That's one of my favourite SOTD out-takes. That and the one where Simon freaks out when the zombies come towards him are the best



I didn't hear him say it in a deeper voice the first time, so I didn't get it until the second watch. I say it to myself to make me laugh at college.

You lot make some bloody good points, but, at the minute, I'm all about the HF out-takes. Hearing Timothy Dalton say "Fuck" makes me go all wobbly... don't know why... he just has a bloody lovely voice..

I keep thinking about the one where Simon goes "Hey, there's the bell... trouble is, with the echo, you can't hear the bell end" at really innapropriate moments (like in the middle of a quiet lesson) and absolutely wetting my pants!!

And there's also a bit when Simon's laughing at the kids who work in the Somerfield and Edgar says something to him and he goes "I can't" in a really high pitched voice. It's not a huge laugh, but it really gets me

And the last one on the love ones....

I just finished disc 2, and as previously metioned, Simon Muggs is a riot. It might have surpassed the Eve Draper dance as my favorite bit. Simon is just too damn cute for his own good. Simon Pegg, life of the party.

And is it wrong of me to want to bone the heck out of Nicholas Angel? I would love to be the one to melt that icy exterior...... Rawr!!!!

I love the bit right at the end of the We Made Fuzz documentary, when Simon's handing out sweets to the crew. It's so adorable, I just want to give him a cuddle!!!

I watched Dead Right with Edgar's commentary last night. I thought it was cute that he was laughing at his own silly jokes in it! He still finds his own 18-year-old sense of humour amusing!

I also was amused by Edgar's commentary over the Hot Fuzz deleted scenes. He used the phrase "over-egg the pudding" a LOT! Good on you, Edgar. Love your work.

There was a really funny moment when we were watching with the commentary.
I can't remember what they were talking about but Simon said something and the rest of the cast went silent but I said "Oooooooooh!!!!" and then exactly after I finished Simon says "Yeah it's a bit like that isn't it?"

It was seriously like he was anwering me! Very funny

My DVD finally arrived yesterday and I spent a chunk of today going through the extras. I can't believe how much content there is! I'll be interested to see just how different the R1 version is.

Hearing Billie Whitelaw say "I've got one fucking line..." is worth the price of admission itself.

I sincerely hope the R1 version has all the same stuff, or at least a fair portion of it. I know that there's always the home-court advantage ... the British fans get all good stuff and they get it first ... but America loves the boys, too.

There will be differences. For starts, the R1 version is a single disc. We will get some of the US tour videos that Joe Cornish shot though.

Bloody hell, how big was the box it arrived in?
