I don't think I shall be tuning in then. That's a mighty shame, as I listened to their show as much for Mr Morgan as I did for Mr Brand, if not more so. Matt's description of both the Norfolk Broads holiday and the incident on top of the van will always occupy a special place in my heart.

Event type notice...
The lovely people at the Big Green Book Shop on Brampton Park Road, Wood Green have invited my radio cohort, Bob Fischer, to go along on Friday 24th April and hold court for a couple of hours, doing readings from 'Wiffle Lever To Full!' and (hopefully) accompanying it with a little slide show as well.
It'll all start at 7pm, and the official Facebook event thingy is here...

Warren Ellis' G.I. Joe cartoon series.Personally I'll reserve judgement until I've seen it. Which apparently you can do on the Adult Swim website. But only in the US.

That's me.

I've never really taken to Brand anyway, and this just seems like a completely pointless remake to me. He's supposed to be incredibly talented, why doesn't he go and make something new, rather than treading ground that's already been covered quite well?
And as for an Arthur remake, they can't replace Gielguid, never mind Moore.
I really wouldn't know, sir. I'm just a servant. On the other hand, go screw yourself.

I've only ever seen clips of it so I can't judge. But I don't never saw the point in having Phoebe Cates in a film if she's not topless at some point.

If it's a film, with Rik Mayall in, and it's not American Werewolf in London then it's shit.
Drop Dead Fred was one of the worst though not quite as bad as Bring Me The Head of Mavis Davis.

I don't see a problem with this. It's a film which, in my opinion, is not very good and I've always thought that remaking bad films is worthwhile.

Although I always had a bit of a soft spot for Drop Dead Fred, Little Monsters was a firm childhood favourite. Very silly and genuinely pretty creepy; never mind a remake, why can't they just show it on TV occasionally?
I was being silly, I don't really remember Little Monsters.

Well I googled it and the Virgin website is showing it as being a feature of the XL package only.
Gee, thanks for telling me that you've moved the goalposts, Virgin.
ETA upon further investigation, I find this is not actually a part of my policy, and was a 'freebie' they have recently discontinued. Hmmm, no problem then, but seems odd for a freebie to last so long (we were on this package in 2007 and had on demand too) and then just pull it.

I only just saw the new Chanel commercial. I like it. Amelie goes to Istanbul. Pity the bloke is a bit wet looking. They should have got Gaspard Ulliel.
The vibe and music suits far Chanel much more than stupid ole 'I'm a darncer - I love to darnce'. Baz and Nicole must be green with (Gucci) Envy. I like Chanel commercials a lot - this and the Keira/Madamoiselle one signals a back to form.

The laziness of the list itself is more annoying than the idea of the films actually being made.
What's
Inglorious Basterds a remake of? Certainly not
Inglorious BastardsIT, Let The Right One In, Day Of The Triffids, Total Recall etc are not remakes, they are adaptations of previous material. Unless they do a
[REC]/ContaminationAnother
Invasion Of The Bodysnatchers. Hooray I say. I've yet to see a version I haven't enjoyed
The new
The Thing is actually a prequel not a remake.
Surely some of the 3D films mentioned are additions to the francises rather than remakes.
Remake away I say. For every
Get Carter there is a
Hills Have Eye's.
