Ooh, I hope so.

What's Gary Kemp doing with that tramp?
Everlong
Ages ago I joked the title was a reference to the pub (them and their Norf London loving), didn't actually believe it would have an involvement.

Sounds... Okay. Then I said that about Shaun and loved it.
Raven
^ Have they said it is the pub in Camden?
Everlong
Good point
sweetbutinsane
I am intrigued.
Silky
It's a good pub.
widowspider
Anyone know who does their casting? *hopeful face*

It's a pretty long shot but I can ask my friend. He's an animator and they had Simon short listed to do a voice over a few years ago so he might know.
I'm seeing him tomorrow. I hasten to add it's about a trillion to one shot.

In the new Empire, @simonpegg and @edgarwright spill on The World's End, the third flavour Cornetto. Here's a taste: http://bit.ly/KXedbl

First poster for the film. I bet, in true Edgar Wright/Simon Pegg clue-dropping style, the pub names actually refer to characters/events.

Silky
That is an awesome poster.
widowspider
Supercool. I am well excited.
Miss Shazam
The King's Head. Nice little Shaun reference if I'm not mistaken.

I can't see the King's Head.

I might be blind though. It is a SotD thing.
Raven
I thought SotD was The Winchester?

In the 'plans' scene they mention going to The King's Head, as a reference to what happens to Philip.
Miss Shazam
I must have meant this one.

Ah, I thought I was being thick.
Rebus
I wonder why it was removed. Or included. Which came first?
Miss Shazam
I imagine it was included first and then omitted. But that's based on nothing.

Paddy Considine set for 'World's End'
grumpygit
And so it begins...
Rebus
First set photos.
Everlong
Another poster has suddenly popped up on Twitter and everywhere.

Silky
It's real purdy.
widowspider
Like it!
Raven
^ Ditto.
Llama
I love it. So pretty.

@simonpegg oi Pegg don't suppose you're doing a video diary for World's End like Shaun and Fuzz?

Simon Pegg ‏@simonpegg
@FactsArnott Nope. We are keeping shit under wraps.
Silky
For those not on Twitter, they wrapped today, in a wonderful display of timing.

Raven
And another . . .

widowspider
Cool!
Rebus
Bad ass.

Raven
The release date is apparently 14th August.
Llama
Traaaaaailer.

Oh, and the UK release date is now July 19th.
Rebus
I think it's safe to say I'm now officially excited.
Silky
Fuck and indeed yes.
Loving the fence gag.
