There's nothing wrong with Smiths, past their erratic pricing policy (and it's miles better than Woolies).

I bought Mad Men Season One last week for a new series to get into. The first two episodes were very good; slow-burning, glossy and much wittier than I was expecting. The period detail is immaculate without being showy. I look forward to the plot arcs only hinted at so far coming to the fore as the introductions are dealt with and the meat of the series begins.
Picked up The Hills Have Eyes 1&2 (remakes) box set for a tenner from Tesco.
Didn't know [REC] was out so might have to get that on the way home tonight.

I really liked Mad Men. I think a fair few people here turned off after a few weeks, but I got into the habit of recording the episodes and watching them in two or three episode chunks and I really fell in love with it; it's definitely one of those shows that is more rewarding when viewed on DVD, rather than on a weekly basis. Can't wait for the second season.

It's a dodgeovision copy I bought of someone on ebay, probably the best quality that I've seen though and he's made an effort with the transfers. It even has basic episode and scene selection! I'll check and see if he is selling anymore as it sounds like he sells these a lot. I'll let you know.

^ True.
("Mutt's nuts" means good, right?)
Although, they are very different types of films.
I'm not sure how much impact
Cloverfield will have for me on 2nd viewing on a TV screen. But, it's still a good monster movie, IMHO.
Iron Man is lots of fun. Robert Downey Jnr is da shiz.
