Released late 2009 in America but early 2010 in the U.K. so it counts. The release date should relate to when it was released in the country you saw it in, not when it was first released. For example, the Japanese film Departures is a strong contender for my list, but that was released in 2008 in Japan.
I'm going to wait a few weeks until I post mine since there are at least two films I'm seeing later this month (Catfish and The King's Speech) which I hope will be included. Plus there are a few 2010 releases which I'm hoping to see on DVD.

It should win lots of Oscars. Sorkin for best screenplay or else there is no justice in this dirty world.

I don't think there's any doubt. Original Screenplay is up for grabs, but there's no other film that can rival Sorkin's in the Adapted category.
I went through the list of films I saw this year earlier and I think that I've narrowed it down to a Top 10. I might post it up later and adjust it as the last big releases come and go.

It's one of the three, along with Scott Pilgrim and....um......
I'm sure I went to the cinema three times this year. I've seen a lot of films, but on DVD. I'm not very current.
It's only beaten into 9th by Jerry O'Connell's AMAZING and heartbreaking performance in Piranha 3D...
