Anyone out there interested in taking part in a reading group?
There was one running on the old boards and it seemed to work quite well so is there anyone out there who would be interested in taking part in one again?
Post here if you are interested!

I would but I have a massive list already of stuff I want to read

I will always read the thread though to get some recommendations in case I get bored of King

A bit of writing

Basically someone nominates a book, people are then given a few weeks to read it, and then a thread is started where people post their thoughts and discuss the book if they wish too.
Last time around the books included:
Nineteen Eighty-Four
I Am Legend
London Fields
One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest
I’ve no idea what will come up this time around!

Yeah, sure, I doubt I'll be able to read every book myself anyway - I certainly didn't last time
Chapman Baxter

I'd be interested. But I already have a large metaphorical pile of books on my to-read list, so I might dip in and out depending on the title.

After my initial quick start I've had bugger all time to sit down and read over the last week so I've only just made it to about page 100 - it's no reflection on the book at all, which is excellent, just on my lazy arse reading style
