Well this is a thread for all the small bits of news that you might read about a cast memeber in the press.
Like today, there was a small piece in the Sun News Paper saying tht Simon had finshed writing "Hot Fuzz" and filming would start on the film in the next couple of months.
How true this is, who knows after all, it did come form the Sun News Paper!!

Wow, that was really quick. I mean, really.
Is it online? Or on an actual paper. Be sure to provide links for any online material you find!

As I said, it was reported in the Sun news paper, and uit's not the most reliable source of information. They've probably blown it out of proportion.

This paper is a rag...that has sold millions of papers by printing lies.
Even though I'm a blue, the filth they printed following Hillsborough would have forced many Newspapers to shut down. I had family at that game, but would feel exactly the same regardless.
PLease take time to scan through this site for more details.
S*n Newspaper Sorry, this wasn't a dig at you!
Forgot to post this yesterday, but once again, the Sun newspaper made a good pun headline in the backpages with regards to Shaun Wright-Philips goal against Arsenal, which leaves Arsenal 7 point behind league leaders Chelsea. The head line was nice and simple and read: "Shaun Of The Dead."

I'll try and scan it later tonight and post it up.

Frost: No, I haven’t. But that’s only because my girlfriend hates me playing games. So I would rather not play games than play games and have her angry.
Pegg: You should take the “playing games” part off that sentence.
Frost: What do you mean?
Pegg: Your girlfriend hates you.

Hi,
Just thought I'd mention a few odd bits I'd seen in the press if anyone was interested ... Simon wrote a great piece in the Mail on Sunday published at the weekend on Kefalonia, about the places he and Maureen had visited. Where he recommends going and where they'd stayed. Definitely worth a read if you've got a copy. Tried to see if they had it on their site but they haven't.
Another snippet was in the Sun yesterday in the Biz. Not the greatest of sources and probably old news, but apparently he'll be appearing in the 7th episode of the new series of Doctor Who along with Tamsin Greig (Green Wing).

Good to know you're on the case TH.
No major problems I noticed - just "weather" instead of "whether" and "their" instead of "they're" - that type of thing.
Sorry I'm anally retentive about these things, what can I say?

Great interview. Looking forward to part 2. Which episode of Buffy is that then? I don't remember episode names, just 'the one when...'.

Mar 15 2005, 05:25 AM
"The Body" is "the one where" Buffy's mamma bites the dust. Also notable for the complete lack of music, almost-complete lack of creatures (until the end), no cutaways, each act is a single scene....oh, and Willow and Tara's first kiss.

But that's incidental.

i do love "the body" episode as i think joss whedon and all the actors managed to get the emotions just right. having lost me dad at a young age i know all abt it and also me mum had a brain tumour but lived through it thankfully. but i do wish i had a sexy gf at the time me dad died to get off with tho!!!

Simon Pegg in The Express today, going to be in a Hollywood film with Brendan Fraser and putting on an American accent. FURTHERMORE, and rather more devastatingly, they claim that because Simon has decided to make this it will push back Hot Fuzz.
I hope this is untrue because otherwise Simon is being a git. He talks in all his acceptance speeches and how he would be nothing without Edgar Wright, but then ditches their collaborative film and pushes it back to go and shoot a Hollywood picture, which has Brendan Fraser in it and, as such, will almost certainly be a big pile o' shite.
