If it does go off the air, some serious script-flingage in the direction of Kristin Bell needs to happen ASAP. She's marvelous.
Yeah, her turn in Deadwood was pretty great as well. She really needs to get something good so that she can remove Pulse from her CV.
Edit: Just had a look at her current projects on imdb and I never knew there was an adaptation of Flatland being made. Can't wait to see how they try to sell a film about a square who discovers the third dimension.

Hai. String together one of her best bits from

Deadwood and her singing "Little Mary Sunshine" from

Definitely not. We actually lost four years of a soap here (Days, Young & Restless, can't remember which) because we were so far behind. I think they ran a one hour special explaining four years worth of plot, then straight into it. I don't watch them, and I found this hilarious!

The new season of Smallville worries me, mainly because of the parallel's with Buffy and Charmed (on the WB). There have been some dips in quality since the glory days, introducing new characters hasn't gone too badly (they could have gone better, of course), but I just don't know how much longer they can keep it all going. One more season is basically it I would think and they need to give it a good conclusion, no 'leaving us on the edge of our seats'.

I agree. I'm sick of any storyline to do with Clark; there hasn't been nearly enough Lois or
Green Arrow lately, and I'm still mad at Lex for
marrying Lana . Not sure of the spoiler tags are necessary, but better to be safe etc etc.
I'm interested in the
Chole as a meteor-freak storyline, and to see how Lex makes his final transition into BAMF-Lex, but that's about it at the moment.

Everything to do with the JLA is great in Smallville, if Clarke can do more with them in the next season then great. I would like to see Clarke finish his training in the Fortress of Solitude after doing away with the Phantom Zone plotline; then he can perhaps make the full transition that they alluded to with Raya, and we can see more of him flying and doing the whole Superman bit.QUOTE (Peronel @ May 21 2007, 12:25 PM)

Well we've seen something to do with Chloe in the season finale, very interesting power - if that is indeed it. They have obviously hinted that she is dead, so either she had the power to sacrifice herself for someone she loves, or the first exercise of a healing/restorative power took a massive toll on her.

I have not been impressed with
Supernatural. Buffy and Angel and even the X-Files and all the complexities theirin,
Supernatural is like the blander caffeine and sugar free version for teens complete with cute boys (tee hee lol) and Scooby Doo plotlines. Which of course - it is - and it does that job okay. I was expecting more. Perhaps Joss and JJ and Tim Kring have spoiled us with complex plot arcs and character development. I only watch it every now and again for Jeffrey Dean Morgan and teh Ackles. The other bloke who looks like Matthew from Eastenders (remember him?) is pretty dire.
But in comparison to
Smallville,
Supernatural is fucking Shakespeare. I hate this show so much more than I can possibly express. Michael Rosenberg was too good for this nonsense too and once he left, it should have been put to pasture. The fact it has been commission again make me very sad indeed. It's just ... shit! But then I'm not a big Superman fan. And like Twilight - it isn't made for me.

Personally, I really like Smallville. I'm a relatively recent convert to it, having only really started watching it from the start over the last six months or so, but I enjoy the new take on Clark and his journey into becoming Big Blue. I'll admit it's probably not for everyone. And I'll also admit that I'm maybe not the person to ask when it comes to what makes quality television; I can't tolerate Buffy (mainly because I can't watch SMG without wanting to punch the screen), but I'll happily watch
Lois and Clark.

I gave up on Earl long ago, and I really really really fancy Jason Lee.
'Medium' is tripe, but in the best possible way. Alison misinterprets her dreams every week, but I like figuring out what's going on well before anyone in the show does. It's so formulaic and silly, a bit like Silent Witness.
Weber and Arquette are my favourite on screen couple, possibly ever. And the family dynamic is a lot of the reason why I enjoy it so much. Me and Zoe call it marriage porn.

I adored Earl for the first cople of seasons, then they lost their way. The coma episodes were a particluar low point (Paris Hilton???). I hoped they could get back the magic in season four but they soon gave up on going back to the list and featured nonsense like flying Randy and Joy & Darnell in the Witness Protection Programme.
Time to put it out of it's misery, methinks.

I think they may have actually done three but definitely 2 because Kirsty Galagher wasn't in the latest series and they played the nostalgia card by bringing back Wolf. I stopped enjoying that show when I was a kid and went to see it being filmed. It was soooooo dullllll.
